Another success story! Here is how donations to the Shed A Light Foundation helps those suffering with severe mental illness to find care, security, and HOPE. Please continue to give by following the link at www.shedalight.com.
“One of the patients that Shed A Light has supported has been hired into the Scripps A-Visions Pool putting together discharge packets for the Behavioral Health inpatient unit and for Labor and Delivery. She is very excited about getting hired and... has demonstrated enthusiasm for her job which she knows makes a difference for the nurses who provide the direct discharge care to patients. She has also demonstrated initiative by teaching herself to use email for communication as she knows that this has become an essential tool in the workplace. She has expressed gratitude for the funding that has made it possible for us to accept her into the Pool this year and hopes that we will pass this along to those who are responsible.”
As always, thank you for your continued interest in the work we do.
