WHAT THEY DO:
Serving older adults in the Valley since 1981, Duet’s mission is to promote health and well-being through vitally needed services to homebound adults, family caregivers, faith communities, and grandfamilies. With a core belief that every senior deserves to age with compassion, dignity, and hope; Duet’s services are founded upon the principles of helping one another. By partnering with individuals, businesses, faith communities, and other organizations, Duet can give rides to the grocery store and medical appointments, offer kindness and support, and offer compassion just when seniors may be facing the challenges of aging all alone. Volunteers work on a one-on-one basis with their senior partner and may also help with reading the mail, bill pay, tech assistance, and minor handyman needs.
HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Volunteer – Join hundreds of Valley volunteers in becoming a regular “neighbor” to a senior assigned to you. There are many opportunities all over Metro Phoenix to lend a hand.
