Good News: A Dog’s Best Friends

When Bonnie, a deaf Australian cattle dog, was surrendered by her owners, Tim Livesey knew she’d make an excellent addition alongside his two other dogs, Bella and Bolt. What he hadn’t counted on though, is the care and protection the hearing dogs would provide to Bonnie. On an off-leash hike soon after joining the family, Bonnie almost fell victim to a stalking coyote that she couldn’t hear approaching. However, her alert canine friends chased off the predator on her behalf and continue to serve as her own personal security team, never leaving her side.
