Good News: Going Above & Beyond

With school closed and left sheltering at home, 12-year-old Rylee was having trouble understanding her math homework. She emailed her teacher Chris Waba for help on graphing an algebraic function. After realizing she still didn’t quite understand his written instructions, he grabbed a whiteboard and walked down the street to her home so he could give her a visual. Taking care to social distance outside her front door, Waba gave a one-on-one lesson to his student as she took notes inside her home. We hope she got an A, and we’re already grading this thoughtful teacher with a definite A+!
