Scorching summer days call for early morning outings to local splash pads with our daughter to savor some outdoor fun before the sun becomes too intense. A visit to the Aquarium keeps us cool in the heat of the day. Evening grilling during the summer months lets us enjoy the longer days along with some refreshing pool time.

Bright and early morning hikes, golf, or a spa session after a workout are great ways to start the day. I enjoy time in our garden nurturing tomatoes, basil, mint, and even hot peppers! Dinners with friends add some extra socializing that takes full advantage of the relaxed pace summer offers.
