Local food truck vendors will battle it out at Kierland Commons in a burger-to-burger combat for title of Best Slider. Judged by local culinary “experts,” there will also be a People’s Choice award from votes of the guests. Proceeds benefit the Arizona Friends of Foster Children Foundation, which has awarded over $5.7 million to children in foster care. Throw back some mouth-watering sliders and make the life of a child brighter. Sounds like a win-win for sure! affcf.org
