Reata Ranch (previously Desert Estates at Pinnacle Peak) is a 220-acre site southeast of Dynamite Boulevard and 128th Street. It is zoned R-4R (townhouse/resort district) and approved for 330 units. This “guest ranch resort residential community” will feature Scottsdale’s western lifestyle with equestrian facilities and trails that will lead into the McDowell Sonoran Preserve’s Gooseneck area.

The City of Scottsdale will provide water, sewer, trash, police, and fire service. APS (electric), SW Gas (natural gas), CenturyLink and Cox (internet, cable tv, and phone) will also serve Reata Ranch.

Reata Ranch is in the city’s Dynamite Foothills Character Area which calls for preserving the rural character with open space, minimal development impact, low building heights and no street lights to compete with starry skies.

Reata Ranch subdivision has views of Fraesfield Mountain, Granite Mountain, Troon Mountain, Pinnacle Peak, and the McDowell Mountains.
