Tonto Hills is located adjacent to Scottsdale, and the Northern most border. Tonto Hills is bordered by Desert Mountain to the West, and Tonto National Forest to the North and East. Tonto National Forest consists of nearly three million acres of wilderness. Tonto Hills is also nearby Bartlett Lake offers water sports, boating and fishing to outdoor enthusiasts. Tonto Hills offers dark night skies, abundant wildlife, ample acreage for horse properties and a tranquil atmosphere. At an elevation of approximately 3,700 feet, Tonto Hills has cleaner air and is typically 10 degrees cooler than the Phoenix Valley area. Tonto Hills boasts spectacular views of distant mountain ranges, Four Peaks, Mount Ord, Weavers Needle and Fountain Hills at the East horizon.
